The King’s Birthday/June long weekend is the perfect time for a little adventure and exploration in NSW. From 10 to 12 June, make the most of the crisp days and cool nights of winter with stargazing, wine tasting, whale watching, snow skiing and more.
The June long weekend marks the official opening of the NSW ski season, so head to Thredbo, Perisher or Charlotte Pass for some fresh tracks.
More than 40,000 whales make their way along NSW coast on their northern migration, known as the Humpback Highway, from May to November each year.
