Brad Spalding opened Wildbrumby Distillery in the Thredbo Valley in 2005, creating traditional European-style schnapps using local fruit and botanicals.
The Snowy Mountains Airport is located just 15km southwest of Cooma. Flying to and from the Snowy Mountains is the fastest way to enjoy everything the region has to offer, from skiing the best slopes in the country, to enjoying spectacular scenery, nature and bushwalking in the warmer months. Qantas flies to Snowy Mountains Airport from Sydney and Brisbane, and Rex operates flights from Sydney.
Fly in to Snowy Mountains Airport if you’re planning to visit Cooma, Berridale, Jindabyne, Adaminaby, Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass. Transfers to Jindabyne, the Skitube, Perisher and Thredbo are available, and there is also a cafe and bar located in the airport.
